The Best Natural Remedies for Menopause Symptoms: Local Options in Langley

Menopause Through a Natural Health Lens

Menopause is a natural transition every woman experiences, but for many, it brings challenges like hot flashes, sleep disruption, and mood changes.
At The Naked Truth Laser & Wellness in Langley, our naturopathic doctor provides a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help women navigate this stage naturally—balancing hormones, restoring energy, and improving quality of life.

Common Menopause Symptoms

As estrogen and progesterone levels decline, women may experience:

  • Hot flashes and night sweats

  • Mood swings, irritability, or anxiety

  • Weight gain and a slower metabolism

  • Vaginal dryness or decreased libido

  • Brain fog, fatigue, and sleep disturbances

  • Hair thinning or skin texture changes

These hormonal shifts impact metabolism, emotional balance, and overall vitality.

How Naturopathic Medicine Approaches Menopause

Unlike conventional medicine, which often focuses on symptom suppression, naturopathic care addresses the root causes of hormonal imbalance.

During your 60-minute initial consultation ($250), our naturopathic doctor explores your hormone patterns, nutrition, lifestyle, stress levels, and emotional well-being.

Personalized Natural Treatment Options Include:

🌿 Nutritional Support

We recommend foods rich in phytoestrogens—such as flaxseed, soy, and legumes—to support hormone balance and reduce hot flashes.

🌸 Herbal Medicine

Clinically supported herbs like black cohosh, dong quai, and maca are used to ease symptoms and stabilize mood.

🌙 Lifestyle Adjustments

Optimizing sleep hygiene, managing stress, reducing caffeine and alcohol intake, and maintaining gentle daily movement all play vital roles in symptom control.

💧 IV & B12 Nutrient Therapy

Our IV therapy for menopause in Langley replenishes nutrients that support metabolism, mood, and energy—especially B vitamins, magnesium, and glutathione.

⚖️ Bioidentical Hormone Support (if appropriate)

When indicated, we discuss bioidentical hormone therapy after comprehensive testing to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Why Langley Women Choose Natural Remedies

Many women seek to work with their bodies, not against them.
Our natural menopause treatment approach provides relief without relying solely on synthetic hormones.

Clients report:

  • Fewer hot flashes and night sweats

  • Improved mood stability and focus

  • Better sleep quality

  • Renewed energy and libido

This holistic method supports physical and emotional balance, helping with a smoother transition through menopause.

The Role of IV Therapy During Menopause

Hormonal changes can impair nutrient absorption and increase oxidative stress.
At The Naked Truth, our IV therapy for menopause support helps restore essential nutrients for energy, detoxification, and skin vitality.

Popular IV nutrients include:

  • B Vitamins – energy and mood support

  • Magnesium – relaxation and sleep aid

  • Glutathione – antioxidant and detox support

Clients often notice improved mental clarity, energy levels, and skin radiance after a few treatments.

A Complete Wellness Plan for Menopause Support

Menopause affects the whole body—not just hormones.
Our comprehensive care plan may include:

  • Acupuncture for stress and sleep balance

  • Breathwork and mindfulness to regulate cortisol

  • Nutritional guidance to stabilize blood sugar and reduce inflammation

By combining these therapies, we help women regain balance naturally and reduce symptoms from multiple angles.

How Naturopathic Doctors in Langley Treat Chronic Fatigue

When “Tired” Becomes More Than Tired

Feeling drained for weeks—or even months—isn’t normal fatigue. It’s often your body’s way of signaling deeper imbalances.
At The Naked Truth Laser & Wellness in Langley, our naturopathic doctor helps patients recover from chronic fatigue through root-cause diagnostics, IV nutrient therapy, and personalized wellness plans designed to restore lasting energy.

What Causes Chronic Fatigue?

Chronic fatigue is complex and often results from multiple overlapping factors, including:

  • Adrenal exhaustion and stress overload

  • Thyroid or hormonal imbalances

  • Nutrient deficiencies (B vitamins, iron, magnesium)

  • Gut health issues or food sensitivities

  • Post-viral fatigue and immune dysfunction

  • Sleep disturbances or mental burnout

Our first step is to listen—understanding your unique history, environment, and habits before designing any treatment.

Naturopathic Assessment and Testing

Your 60-minute initial consultation ($250) includes a comprehensive review of your medical and lifestyle background.
Depending on your symptoms, our naturopathic doctor may recommend targeted lab tests such as:

  • Ferritin (iron storage)

  • Vitamin B12 and folate levels

  • Thyroid panel (TSH, T3, T4)

  • Cortisol and adrenal testing

  • Food sensitivity testing

These insights allow us to create a customized plan—not a generic “energy fix”—to address the root of your fatigue.

Naturopathic Treatment Strategies for Chronic Fatigue

💧 IV Vitamin Therapy

Our IV nutrient drips deliver essential vitamins and minerals directly into your bloodstream for immediate absorption.
Formulas often include B-complex, vitamin C, magnesium, and amino acids—a combination shown to boost cellular energy and immunity.

⚡ NAD⁺ Infusion

NAD+ IV therapy supports mitochondrial function, DNA repair, and detoxification.
Many patients describe it as “life-changing,” noticing sharper focus, improved stamina, and reduced brain fog within days.

🔋 B12 Injections

Low B12 is one of the most common—and reversible—causes of fatigue. Regular B12 injections quickly restore vitality, cognitive clarity, and metabolism.

🥗 Lifestyle & Nutrition Coaching

We guide you toward balanced macronutrients, anti-inflammatory eating, hydration routines, and consistent sleep cycles to prevent energy crashes.

🌿 Herbal & Adaptogenic Support

Natural adaptogens like ashwagandha, rhodiola, and Siberian ginseng help your body adapt to stress and rebuild resilience.

The Role of Mind-Body Balance

At The Naked Truth, we treat fatigue as both a biochemical and emotional condition.
True healing includes addressing mental stress, emotional boundaries, and rest habits.
Our clients often pair naturopathic care with acupuncture, breathwork, or meditation, creating a balanced foundation for recovery.

Results You Can Expect

Most clients begin noticing improvements within weeks:

  • More consistent morning energy

  • Better concentration and mood stability

  • Decreased reliance on caffeine

  • Restful, uninterrupted sleep

  • Renewed motivation and drive

Follow-up visits ensure your treatment plan evolves as your body regains balance.

Vitamin B12 Injections in Langley: What They Help With and Who Should Get Them

At The Naked Truth in Langley, many of our clients come to us feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally drained. They’ve tried multivitamins, caffeine, and sleep adjustments, yet energy remains low. One of the most common solutions our naturopathic doctor recommends is the Vitamin B12 injection: a fast, safe, and effective therapy that restores vitality from the inside out.

What Is Vitamin B12 and Why Is It So Important?

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is a nutrient that your body needs but cannot make on its own. It helps form red blood cells, creates energy, supports brain health, and maintains nerve function.

Deficiency is surprisingly common in adults, especially among vegetarians, vegans, individuals with digestive disorders, or those taking certain medications that block absorption (such as antacids or metformin).

Here’s what deficiency can look like:

  • Persistent fatigue or low motivation
  • Dizziness or light-headedness
  • Brain fog or poor concentration
  • Tingling in hands or feet
  • Low mood or irritability

How B12 Injections Work

Oral supplements must pass through the digestive system, which limits the amount of B12 your body can absorb. B12 injections skip that step and deliver the nutrient directly into the bloodstream. This means rapid and complete absorption.

Each injection provides a precise, therapeutic dose that your body can immediately use to rebuild energy reserves and restore healthy cellular function.

At The Naked Truth, B12 injections are administered by trained professionals in a clean, calming environment. The appointment is quick (usually 10 minutes), and most patients experience a subtle lift in energy and clarity within 24 to 48 hours.

Benefits You Can Feel

Regular B12 injections can help:

  • Boost natural energy without stimulants
  • Improve focus, memory, and mental clarity
  • Support metabolism and weight-management goals
  • Reduce irritability and stabilize mood
  • Strengthen the immune system
  • Give you healthier hair, skin, and nails

Many clients also combine B12 injections with IV Vitamin Therapy sessions for more complete nutrient support, especially when recovering from chronic fatigue, stress, or illness.

Who Should Consider B12 Injections?

You may be a good candidate if you:

  • Feel tired even after adequate sleep
  • Follow a plant-based diet
  • Experience frequent colds or slow recovery from illness
  • Have been diagnosed with anemia or low B12 levels
  • Are under significant physical or mental stress
  • Want to improve focus, energy, and performance naturally

During your naturopathic consultation at The Naked Truth in Langley, our doctor will review your health history, lifestyle, and any relevant lab work to determine whether B12 therapy is right for you.

How B12 Fits Into Your Wellness Plan

B12 shots can be a standalone service or part of a broader naturopathic or IV therapy plan that addresses root causes such as nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, or stress-related fatigue. Follow-up visits help track progress and fine-tune dosage frequency.

Safety and Frequency

When performed by a licensed naturopathic physician, B12 injections are incredibly safe. Most people receive injections weekly for several weeks, then transition to monthly maintenance once B12 levels reach an appropriate range. Side effects are minimal, usually mild tenderness at the injection site that resolves quickly.

Your Next Step

If you’ve been struggling with low energy, mood changes, or sluggish metabolism, it may be time to explore B12 injections.

Book your follow-up or B12 injection appointment at The Naked Truth in Langley today and start feeling like yourself again: energized, balanced, and focused.

Insurance & Coverage for Naturopathy in Langley, BC

Navigating the insurance world for naturopathic care and IV therapy can be confusing, especially when you’re looking at services that cross conventional and alternative boundaries. Here at The Naked Truth in Langley, we want to make you aware of what to expect, how to prepare, and how to manage your budget intelligently.

What about provincial coverage (MSP) for naturopathic services?

In British Columbia, the public health insurance plan is the Medical Services Plan (MSP). MSP covers medically required services by physicians or midwives. MSP does not broadly cover naturopathic services for the general public. Many clinics offer naturopathic care privately (outside MSP).

What this means for you: Your visit to The Naked Truth’s naturopathic doctor is not covered by MSP for most people, so you’ll be paying out-of-pocket initially.

What about extended health or private insurance?

This is where most patients recover some of the cost for naturopathic visits. Here’s what to consider:

  • Many extended health benefit plans (employer or individual) do cover naturopathic visits (as long as the provider is licensed).
  • You’ll need to check whether your plan lists “naturopathic doctor (ND)” or “naturopathic medicine”. What’s the annual maximum benefit? Per-visit cap?
  • Many naturopathic offices in Langley issue receipts that you submit to your insurer for reimbursement. Some may offer direct billing depending on the insurer.
  • At The Naked Truth, we list our pricing clearly (Initial Visit $250; Follow-ups $75 or $125), so you know what your insurer may cover.

What about IV therapy coverage?

IV nutrient therapy (NAD⁺ infusions, iron infusions, glutathione add-ons) is less commonly covered under standard extended health plans in BC. Often it’s considered “wellness” or “enhancement” rather than medically necessary.

In practice: When you come to The Naked Truth for IV therapy, assume you’ll pay out-of-pocket unless your benefits plan expressly covers it (rare). We recommend you speak with your insurer in advance to clarify.

Practical steps before booking

  1. Call your benefits administrator and ask:
  • “Are naturopathic doctor (ND) visits covered under my plan?”
  • “What is the annual maximum (or per visit) for naturopathic medicine?”
  • “Is IV therapy covered? Are infusions included or excluded?”
  • “Does my plan reimburse lab tests or supplements recommended by an ND?”
  • “Do I need to pay up-front and submit a receipt, or does the clinic direct-bill?”
  1. Bring your plan details to your first visit: plan name, group number, certificate number, and insurer name. At The Naked Truth, we’ll provide the receipt and invoice.

  2. Budget for uncovered items: If your plan covers ND visits but not the full cost (or nothing for IV therapy), plan accordingly. The Initial Visit ($250) may be fully covered; follow-ups or IV therapy may not be.

  3. Use your benefit year wisely: Many plans reset on January 1 if you foresee starting naturopathic or IV therapy, book before year-end to get the most from your benefit.

  4. Keep your receipts and results: If your plan reimburses, you’ll need documentation. Also, track your progress so you and your insurer can see value.

Why transparency matters in your studio decision

At The Naked Truth, transparency around pricing, service structure, and follow-up fees means you enter your wellness journey informed. You know: Initial Visit $250; follow-up $75 or $125; IV Tier 1 $125, etc. You can compare that to your benefit coverage and decide how to allocate budget and time.

Knowing what your insurer will cover helps you avoid unexpected costs and work more effectively with your practitioner to build a sustainable plan, not just a one-off visit.

Summary for Langley clients

  • Extended health benefits may cover naturopathic visits. Check your plan.

  • MSP (provincial) coverage for naturopathic services is limited and not applicable to most people.

  • IV therapy is usually out-of-pocket. Treat it as a wellness investment rather than an insured medical expense.

  • Clinics in Langley (like ours) provide transparent pricing and receipts to help your reimbursement process.

  • Planning around your benefit year, reimbursement limits, and treatment timeline will help you get the most from your investment in naturopathic and IV care.

Final thought

Insurance doesn’t have to be a barrier to seeking naturopathic and IV-therapy care, but understanding the terrain matters. At The Naked Truth in Langley, we believe in open communication, upfront cost disclosure, and helping you navigate your benefits so your path to wellness is as smooth as possible. If you’re ready to book your initial 60-minute consultation, we’ll help you review your benefit scenario and set a plan that fits your goals and budget.

Community Health Trends in Langley That Naturopath Clinics Help With

Langley’s wellness scene is changing, and the team at The Naked Truth is paying attention. When we understand local health patterns, our naturopathic and IV-therapy studio can match services, education, and care to what our community needs. Below, we look at major trends in Langley, why they matter, and how our approach supports them.

Trend 1: Fatigue, low energy & metabolic slowdowns

Today’s fast-paced culture leaves many Langley residents feeling constantly behind the energy curve. Commuting, screen time, disrupted sleep, hormone shifts, and convenient diets all add to the fatigue burden.

Clinics across the Fraser Valley (including naturopathic practices) are seeing rising interest in energy-supportive care, metabolic support, and nutrient- or IV-based interventions. The Naked Truth offers IV protocols (Tier 1-3, NAD⁺ infusions) designed to replenish nutrient stores, support energy production, and boost metabolic pathways.

We combine naturopathic intake, lifestyle intervention, nutritional guidance, and direct nutrient therapies. This lets us respond not just to the symptom (“I’m tired”), but also to the root pattern: nutrient deficiency, hormonal dysregulation, stress burden, poor sleep, or gut inefficiency.

Trend 2: Hormonal concerns (women & men) and weight-management challenges

Many people don’t realize how connected hormones, metabolism, weight, gut health, and skin health are. Langley patients tell us: “I’m doing everything I can (diet, gym), but I just can’t shift this weight or change my skin and hormones.”

Our service menu at The Naked Truth addresses exactly this intersection: hormone balance (men & women), metabolic sluggishness, weight-management protocols, IV nutrient support, plus aesthetic skin and contouring add-ons.

We pair naturopathic evaluation (hormones, gut, liver, thyroid, adrenals) with targeted IV/nutrient boosts and lifestyle support. The goal is to move beyond quick fixes to sustainable change.

Trend 3: Gut health & skin connection

Digestive issues such as bloating, food sensitivity, IBS, or unclear gut symptoms are common in modern suburban life, including in Langley. These gut-health disruptions often show up externally as skin concerns, immune vulnerabilities, or low energy.

At The Naked Truth, we treat skin not just as “skin-deep” but as a window into internal health. Your initial session may include a gut-health review and IV or nutrient support, combined with lifestyle and naturopathic interventions, to help you heal from the inside out.

We offer both internal health care (naturopathy, IV) and external aesthetic therapies (skin rejuvenation, laser, and body contouring). This gives clients a more complete path when their concern may appear cosmetic, but the root is deeper.

Trend 4: Stress, sleep disruption, mental-emotional load

Langley residents face high stress, busy schedules, disrupted sleep, family and work demands, and screen overload, like many across the region. These stressors impact metabolism, hormones, immunity, gut health, skin, and recovery.

Naturopathic care at The Naked Truth addresses these dimensions through lifestyle counselling (sleep hygiene, stress management), targeted nutrients and IV support (B-complex injections, glutathione add-ons, NAD⁺ drip), and structural follow-up to monitor progress.

Mental-emotional wellness matters here. The body doesn’t compartmentalize. Your gut, hormones, skin, and energy all respond to your nervous system and lifestyle context.

Trend 5: Preventive health & wellness care

Rather than waiting for illness, more people in Langley are seeking proactive, wellness-oriented care. They want to maintain vitality, look good, feel good, age well, and prevent future decline. This matches our studio’s mission: personalised naturopathic care rooted in science, IV nutrition that supports deeper physiology, and aesthetic services for total wellness.

The Naked Truth is more than a clinic. It’s a wellness studio. We help you build long-term resilience, not just fix what’s broken. The 60-minute initial assessment, customised plan, follow-ups, transparent pricing, and service pairing all support that vision.

Why these trends matter in Langley

Langley, as part of the Fraser Valley region, combines a suburban lifestyle with increasing wellness awareness. Residents juggle commuting, family, business, and may have less buffer time for self-care. A clinic in Langley that offers accessible, personalised, whole-person care (instead of forcing patients to travel to Vancouver) addresses a real need. Clinics like The Naked Truth, which pair naturopathy, IV therapy, and aesthetic services locally, are well-placed to meet evolving demands.

When we focus on root causes, prevention, and whole-person care, naturopathic and integrative clinics reduce downstream burdens (fewer medications, less chronic disease progression, less cosmetic-only symptom-fixing). This benefits individuals and the community at large.

How Langley residents can engage proactively

If you see any of the above trends in your own life (low energy, stubborn weight, gut issues, skin that doesn’t respond, stress, and sleep load), here are action steps:

  1. Book a 60-minute initial visit at The Naked Truth (or similar integrative clinic), not just a brief consult.

  2. Bring your full story: diet, sleep, stress, environment, prior labs, medications. Deeper context allows better root-cause work.

  3. Ask about pairing internal health care (naturopathy, nutrients, and IV support) with external services (skin, contour, aesthetic treatments) if relevant.

  4. Use transparent pricing and a clear plan structure so you know the investment and timeline.

  5. Commit to follow-up and adjust over time. Sustainable change takes time.

  6. Check coverage (see next post) and budget accordingly.

Final thought

The health and wellness trends in Langley are clear: fatigue, gut and skin overlap, hormone and metabolism issues, stress and sleep load, and an increasing tilt toward preventive care. At The Naked Truth, we’re matched with these trends. We offer a studio that brings naturopathic depth, IV nutrient power, and paired aesthetic options. If you’re ready to partner in a long-term wellness journey (not just a quick fix), Langley is well served, and we’re ready to welcome you.

Top Questions Langley Patients Ask Our Naturopath Doctors

When you visit The Naked Truth’s naturopathic and IV therapy studio in Langley, you probably have questions. Our clients often arrive with similar concerns. Below, we answer the most common questions from patients who come in for naturopathic and IV therapy care. You’ll get clarity about what makes our approach different.

Are you curious about what a first visit looks like? Want to know how IV therapy fits in? Wondering how we address skin, hormone, or metabolism issues? We’ve got you covered.

What exactly does a Naturopathic Doctor do at The Naked Truth?

At The Naked Truth (Langley,) we deliver personalized naturopathic care grounded in science and compassion. Your 60-minute initial visit ($250) with our naturopathic doctor includes a detailed review of your complete health history, lifestyle, current labs (if available), and wellness goals. From there, we design a treatment plan built for you, not a generic protocol.

This is more than a typical short check-in. It’s a complete foundational session where we listen deeply and co-create your plan.

Our services include naturopathic intake and follow-ups, plus IV nutrient therapy, weight management protocols, skin health, hormone balance, and more.

What happens during my first visit?

You can expect:

A detailed intake. We review your medical, lifestyle, environmental history, and current concerns.

A lab review. We look at any labs you bring and discuss whether further diagnostics are needed.

A plan you helped build. This may include nutritional guidance, herbal support, lifestyle strategies, plus any recommended IV therapy or other modalities.

A clear explanation. We tell you the “why” behind each recommendation. We believe in transparency and empowerment.

A follow-up schedule. Choose 15-minute or 30-minute options to monitor progress and adjust your plan as you go.

How long until I see results? How many visits will I need?

Results vary widely depending on your starting point, health history, and the complexity of the root causes. Some patients notice improvements in energy or gut health within weeks. Other deeper issues (hormonal imbalances, chronic fatigue, metabolic sluggishness) may take months of consistent follow-through.

Initial visits often require monthly check-ins, then move to 2-3 month intervals for maintenance. We’ll set expectations during your first consultation, shaped around your goals.

Because The Naked Truth combines IV therapy, naturopathic care, and lifestyle change, we can often speed progress. But long-term change still requires commitment.

Will I have to stop working with my family doctor?

Not at all. We encourage collaboration. If you have a family physician or specialist, we’ll happily coordinate care and communicate where appropriate. Our naturopathic services and IV therapy complement what you’re already doing rather than replacing standard medical oversight.

If medications or higher-level medical monitoring are required, we’ll either work with your physician or refer you appropriately.

What conditions can you help with? How does it fit with your IV therapy and aesthetic services?

At The Naked Truth in Langley, we support clients experiencing:

  • Chronic fatigue or low energy
  • Hormonal imbalance (men and women)
  • Metabolic sluggishness and weight management challenges
  • Gut health disruptions
  • Immune system support or recovery
  • Skin concerns tied to internal health
  • Stress, sleep disruption, and  mental and emotional wellness

We address root causes across physical, emotional, and lifestyle dimensions so you feel better now and build a healthier future.

Here’s how IV therapy fits in. Nutrient infusions (such as NAD⁺, iron, and glutathione) add a powerful dimension of support. Our studio also offers skin rejuvenation, body contouring, laser hair removal, and Botox and fillers. You can pair internal health changes with external aesthetic support if desired.

What about cost? How does that work?

Here are our pricing points:

  • Initiavisitit (60 min): $250
  • Weight Loss Consultation: $230
  • Follow-Up Visits: 15 min $75; 30 min $125
  • B12 Injections: $55
  • HCG Injections: $55
  • IV Therapy: Tier 1 $125, Tier 2 $180, Tier 3 $215
  • Glutathione add-on: $80
  • Iron Infusion: $330
  • NAD⁺ initial (includes 250 mg): $465
  • NAD⁺ subsequent: 250 mg $275 or 500 mg $350

We’re upfront about these costs so you know what to expect. If you’re using extended health insurance, we’ll help you navigate that (see the insurance section below).

Is IV therapy safe? How does it fit with my naturopathic plan?

Yes, when administered by trained professionals and properly screened and monitored. At The Naked Truth, we use IV nutrient therapy to deliver vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream. This bypasses the digestive tract for faster, more effective results.

Typical use cases: fatigue, immune support, metabolic resistance, detox, aesthetic wellness. An NAD⁺ infusion, for example, supports cellular energy production, DNA repair, and fat-burning pathways.

We always begin with a naturopathic consult to ensure safety, appropriateness, and synergy with your overall plan.

Will my insurance cover my naturopathic or Ivisitit?

Many extended health benefit plans cover naturopathic consultations (assuming the practitioner is licensed). Coverage for IV therapy is less common in BC and is generally out of pocket. We’ll provide receipts, assist with claims, and encourage you to review your plan in advance.

(See Section 3 below for detailed insurance guidance.)

How is your studio different from other naturopathic or IV clinics in Langley?

What sets The Naked Truth apart:

A complete studio environment. We combine naturopathic care, IV therapy, and aesthetic modalities all under one roof in Langley.

Transparent service menu and pricing. No surprises.

Personalized treatment plans. No one-size-fits-all protocols.

Science-grounded therapies. We maintain the compassion and listen-first approach of natural medicine.

Clear communication. We tell you what to expect —from first visit to diagnostics, follow-ups, and outcomes.

How do I choose if naturopathic care is proper for me?

If you are seeking:

  • More than symptom management (you want root-cause care)
  • A proactive wellness plan (not just reactive)
  • Support for internal health (fatigue, gut, hormones, immunity) that can pair with aesthetic and body modality services
  • A provider that will listen, educate, collaborate, and adjust as you go

…then a naturopathic doctor at The Naked Truth may be a great fit.

Bring your complete health history, current labs (if available), and be ready to talk about lifestyle, diet, and environment. These give your practitioner the richest context to serve you.

Book your 60-minute initial visit and let’s start the conversation.
